丹霞赤地 － 赤洲 (Port Island a.k.a. Chek Chau) [4K航拍]

赤洲是塔門以北的一個島嶼，屬船灣郊野公園(擴建部份)，其西面為大赤門海。赤洲的東、南面遍佈了獨特的褐紅色礫岩和粉砂岩，赤紅的丹霞地貌被譽為「海上丹霞」，故被列入為香港世界地質公園之一。 赤洲頂為全島的最高點，高海拔131米，可遠眺黃竹角咀一帶的景色。
Port Island is located at the northern side of Grass Island, it belongs to Plover Cove (Extension) Country Park. On Port Island, there are red conglomerates composed of boulders, cobbles and gravel of volcanic rock, mudstone, sandstone and quartz. Chek Chau Teng, it is 131m high and the highest point in Port Island, there is splendid view of Wong Chuk Kok Tsui.
